Local Government distributor-retailer price (distribution and retail charges)
This section of your bill details our distribution and retail charges. These charges include water and sewerage access charges and water consumption charges.
Water usage charges
This is a variable charge that covers the amount of water in kilolitres (1 kilolitre = 1000 litres) that has been used for this period. Water consumption is scaled so that the more water you use, the more you pay. It is charged per kilolitre of water used.
Water and sewerage charges
New water and sewerage charges for 2016-17 came into effect on 1 July 2016. Your October or January account will be charged at 2015-16 rates for water used prior to 1 July 2015 and water used after this date will be charged at 2016-17 prices.
